Authorblog: On the List

I found myself on the list again at last week’s Authorblog: Weekly Blog Awards; this time on the fourth position. :)   I am still, learning the craft but am slowly getting there.

So, I guess people “are” interested to listen, even to someone who has rusty auto parts, for brains.

Just got back and I am dying to write.  I did some tweaks to the blog, as an answer to various comments from my readers.  Comments are a good resource for blog writers like me.  Given constructively, they can make a difference on whether a blog will continue improving or not.  Though, the truth stands that one cannot please everybody, it is however essential for a blogger to know how to listen, to know what comments to follow and what improvements to implement.

The trick, I guess, is to not lose one’s identity while considering critique from others.  This blog has a long way to go.  Like a little child learning to walk, I know there will be times of falling down.  The key I feel, is to not tire of standing up, of learning, of improving.

As one oils, and tunes up an old engine, I have to keep myself on the look out for what I can improve on.  And as I have auto parts for brains, I cannot, afford to not keep myself at running conditions every time.

Great image. And you’re so accurate – blogging is indeed a process of self-evaluation and self-discovery.
    Keep smiling.
